Thai Massage

Иван Шивачев - Тай масаж

Thai massage, or NUAD BORAN, as it is known in Thailand, is something more than just a healing massage technique. It is an art, meditation in movement, an act of devotion trough the hands and the heart, a body and mind therapy, energizing and relaxing at the same time. Being practiced centuries ago, in Thailand it is a culture and a way of living.

In the West, often they call it "yoga for lazy people". Through the skilled hands of the therapist, the body moves in a series of stretching techniques, combined with fingers, palms, elbows, knees and feet pressure. If performed correctly, it leads to a very beneficial healing effect for both the giver and the receiver.

Originally The Thai Massage is performed on a floor mat, but it is possible to be done on a massage table too. No massage oil is used, so the receiver is fully clothed, in appropriate light and comfortable clothing.

Usually, the duration of the Massage is between one and two hours. Based on the Four Elements of Life and the Energy Channels ( SEN SIB) theories , its effect is not limited within the physical body only, but goes onto the Spiritual and Emotional field, giving an amazing relaxation along the tender energy flow of the Life itself.
